Every year, Halloween comes along and folks just seem to have the urge to adorn their houses for the occasion. But what are you going to do if you have a smaller home like an apartment? redecorating options are somewhat limited, and the space can easily become cluttered even after just adding a few pieces. You will soon be hosting your own Halloween theme party after solving this dilemma with just a variety smart and practical choices, even answering the door for trick-or-treaters.

However you should not ignore the easter and christmas costumes you may wear for the kids: easter bunny costumes and santa claus suits.

Purchases that serve dual or useful purposes are the best ones. Start with Halloween dishes and bath towels as these take absolutely no extra space compared to the regular items they will be replacing. You may have difficulty getting a Halloween version of a dish depending on the store so if this is the case, just get something in black or orange that you could arrange on the table. Remember to pair them with matching table dressing. Orange dishware on a black table cloth can be a simple touch toward bringing the Halloween spirit to your small space. Similar to what you would put up during Christmas, dress your front windows with orange decorative lights or something in an orange-yellow combination. More window dressing can be added by getting fake spider web which you can also hang in one or two corners of the room that you are decorating. If your walls aren’t already painted in an orange hue, you could get Halloween-themed decals or wall stickers that can stick on your walls, or windows (decals only). For everyone on the inside to the enjoy them, particularly if you are not at ground level, put the decals on front windows facing inward for them to see. You can decide to have the decals facing outward if you are on the ground floor so that they can instead be visible to folks passing by. With a welcome rug, you can complete the final touch. If you have carpeting then you will probably have to settle for a bathmat, but for anything else you could ideally get holloween themed carpets from any department store during the Halloween season.

Bear in mind that things can quickly get cluttered when decorating for a smaller space so just make sure that all the walls are in a similar hue to keep with the Halloween theme while decorating just one or two of them. To avoid taking up too much floor space, avoid larger items while replacing what you are already using with Halloween-themed items. If you find decorating to be too much then try to incorporate blacks and orange all through your space so you can still get into the Halloween mood.
